In 1881 Thomas was a bolt and nut maker. In 1882 Thomas, Mary and John emigrated to Australia aboard the Samuel Plimsoll. Thomas can be found in Annandale, New South Wales from 1894 to 1900. A John Brumfitt Sedgwick, jeweller, is in Newtown, New South Wales in 1930.
