John Sedgwick [Thomas Sedgwick / Alice Baine] In 1851 and 1861 John was a farmer. John Sedgwick died in 1862 without leaving a will. Elizabeth was a grocer in 1871. Is Richard the Apprentice living in Halifax in 1871? In 1861 the family are living at Peggleside in Dent. The property was apparently bought in 1856. Was it sold on John's death or did it stay in the family - can anyone help? ![]() Children: |
