In 1851 George, widower and agricultural labourer, was lodging in Coniston - his son William was living with his uncle and Henry was a servant in Stirton with Thorlby. In 1861 George was a gamekeeper and can be found in Embsay with Eastby in 1861. By 1891 he has retired and is living in Halton East.

In 1861 Henry is living in Hound, Hampshire.
