Stephen George Sedgwick (born 1858)

Stephen George Sedgwick [Thomas Sedgwick / Elizabeth Stainton]
b 1858
m Victoria E Partridge 1878 (BMD)
d after 1901

In 1881 Stephen was working as a railway clerk and living at Tebay, Westmorland. In 1901 the family are living in Kirkby Lonsdale and Stephen is the Registrar of Births, Marriages and Deaths - at least I think that is what the census says!

The great mystery is Stephen's son Ivy Thomas Sedgwick. He was working as a groom in 1901 but amazingly hadn't changed his christian name to something more masculine.
