William Francis Sedgwick [William Sedgwick / Penelope Watts] At the time of his marriage and in the1841 and 1851 census, William is living in Westminster - described as a warehouseman and merchant in the latter. In 1861 he is described as a jeweller and silk mercer retired. Daughter Amelia is away at school in 1841 and is in York with her Clipperton cousins in 1851 - Amelia Dennis Bayne married John Clipperton in 1821. |
