William Sedgwick of Shenstone and Derby (1774-1845)

William Sedgwick [Thomas Sedgwick / Catherine Marshall]
bpt 6 November 1774 Shenstone, Staffordshire
m. Hephzibah Page 9 May 1831 Derby
d 1845

William Sedgwick's descendant Mark Sedgwick supplied the information that William originated from Shenstone and based on this the baptism was located. It was originally believed that William had married twice however recent research has disproved this.

In 1831 William is described as a tailor although it is believed by his family that he was also a farmer. In 1841 he is living in Shenstone described as independant perhaps supervising his property?
