John Sedgwick [William Sedgwick / Mary Unknown) John was a general carrier in 1881. In 1851 the family are joined by a Mary Sedgwick born in England in 1829 and in 1861 by his brother James Sedgwick, Chelsea Pensioner, born circa 1819. John's death certificate gives his parents names as William and Mary Sedgwick which ties in with a Chatham family. |
