John Sedgwick of Nottingham

John Sedgwick [Parents unknown]
b. circa 1730?
m. Sarah Messam 10 February 1750/51
bur. 10 October 1754

The marriage of John Sedgwick and Sarah Messam is the earliest known record of a Sedgwick in Nottingham and thus, so far, John's origins can only be guessed at. The records of this time are nearly illegible and give no further clues.

The burial records are proving troublesome and need to be examined again.
