Mary Brown In the 1841 census Mary is living in North Shields with two Sedgwick children and three Shepherd children. Both these children were baptised as the children of Mary Sedgwick - were they illegitimate or was the father away at sea? Johnson is called Brown in 1851 and there is a grandson called William Brown in the family too. |
