William's marriage certificate gives his father as Joseph Sedgwick, deceased weaver. William was a shoe maker in 1851 and 1861. Son Douglas can be found arriving in New York in 1908 en route to Perth, Australia.

Arthur gives his fathers name as John Sedgwick boot maker on his marriage certificate - more research needed.
