Joseph Sedgwick [Joseph Sedgwick / Catherine Tyson] In 1841 Joseph is described as a farmer but by 1851 he is a beer house keeper living with his wife and a Henry Sedgwick. As Joseph was in Cartmel in 1841 Henry is assumed to be a step-son. He married under the name of Sowerbutts but is in the census as Sedgwick. |
