Thomas Sedgwick of Bishopwearmouth (born 1807)

Thomas Sedgwick [Longstaff Sedgwick / Elizabeth Wayman]
b. 25 November 1807 Sunderland, Durham
m Sarah Bruce 1831
d 1871 (BMD)

In census returns Thomas gives his year of birth as 1809 so there is a chance that he has been mis-assigned to this family and additional proof is being sought.

In the 1861 census Thomas is described as a shoemaker and in 1871 census as a letter carrier living in Bishopwearmouth. His sons were both joiners.
