Marmaduke Sedgwick (born circa 1740)

Marmaduke Sedgwick [Marmaduke Sedgwick / Mary Mitford]
b circa 1740
m Ann Meriton 1767
d circa 1808

When his daughter Elizabeth is baptised he is referred to as Mr Marmaduke Sidgswick.

The first reference that I have found to Marmaduke is in respect of the marriage of his youngest daughter Elizabeth at Aberlemno, Scotland. Another refers to Ensign Marm. Sidgswick in 1759 in a list of the officers in the North York Militia and the 4th Battalion Yorkshire Regiment, from 1758 to 1907.

Another from the Death Duty Register deals with the division of his estate - no mention of son Marmaduke's children.
