July 2nd 1717. Samuell Sedgwick son of Samuell Sedgwick Citizen and Painterstainer of London apprentice to Richard Ryder Citizen and Skinner of London for seven years. Mem[oran]dum one hundred and ninety pounds is the sume paid or agreed to be paid

6th Aprill 1725. Samuel Sedgewick Son of Samuel Sedgewick Citizen and Painter Stainer of London late Apprentice to Richard Ryder Citizen and Skinner of London having served the full term in his indentures mentioned was this day preferred to his freedome

The Skinners records prove that Samuel senior is the Samuel Sedgwick related to the Woburn Sedgwicks.
